Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Tuition

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a fantastic sport for all; our team of instructors will tailor the lesson to suit your ability.

 

It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner and want to learn the basics or just looking for advice on how to improve stance, paddle stroke technique, through to step-back turns.

 

Don't have your own board or wetsuit? Not a problem, use one of our adult sized RED 10'6's or our fantastic youth sized Two Bare Feet paddleboards for your course as well as borrow a wetsuit from our rental stock; all included in the cost of your lesson. 

 

These are shared tuition sessions for up to 6 people.

BYO Paddleboard Workshops

Designed to introduce beginners to the serene yet exciting world of paddleboarding, while also refining the skills of more experienced paddlers. Led by qualified instructors, this workshop promises a blend of learning, adventure, and fun. You must have your own SUP. These workshops could consist of:

  • Equipment: Learn the ropes of equipment setup, from PSI levels to securing leashes and ensuring proper inflation for a smooth and safe ride.

  • Safety First: Gain essential knowledge on self-rescue methods and weather awareness, empowering you to navigate the waters with confidence and caution.

  • SUP Techniques: Dive into the world of stand-up paddleboarding from basic tips on stroke and positioning to expert guidance on step back turns, reverse paddle turns, and counter balance

  • Community building: Beyond skill development, our sessions provide a supportive environment to meet and connect with other like-minded paddlers.

  • Anything else you want to learn or know! From equipment advice, sight locations, weather app - make the most of our friendly and qualified instructor’s knowledge!

Join a maximum of 6 fellow paddlers for a 1.5hr workshop.
